An electric truck with its own stove.
Here’s some exclusive on-the-scene video of the Rivian R1T pickup truck’s debut at Overland Expo.
This truck comes packing its own battery-powered pull-out stove in addition to some other unique gear designed to take you wherever you want to go. Rivian’s tunnel storage is unique and is customizable as seen by the stove inserted here. The tunnel can convert back to simply extra storage if a stove (or other accessories) aren’t required for a particular trip.
Rivian lays claims to presenting the first-ever pure electric vehicle at the Overland Expo. In order to properly overland, you need to be able to travel a long distance on potentially uncharted, off-road courses, camp out, and cook your own food. And that’s precisely what this particular R1T is capable of doing.
